CASE STUDY

Secure Residential Treatment

Challenge: Oregon faced a shortage of safe, secure residential treatment options for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Our Approach: Oregon CFS convened a community coalition, secured a qualified provider, and structured funding for land acquisition, design, and construction of two purpose-built Secure Residential Treatment Facilities.

Outcome: Delivered 32 new treatment beds across 24,000 sq. ft. of specialized space, reducing reliance on the overburdened Oregon State Hospital and creating lasting community capacity.
